Abstract

Julia Lazarus (DE)
The documentary focuses on a forest around a refugee camp near Jena, Germany. There the administrative authorities created a zone, which is detached from the juridical and political system - a zone with its own constitution. Using stories told by members of the refugee group forst1 seeks to depict the isolation and alienation, which haunts the inhabitants of the forest.

forst1 is a co-production between wr, reval and viola k.t.
