# Volker Grassmuck (DE)

Biography

Grassmuck is researcher at the Humbold University Berlin, and initiator of the Wizards of OS conferences on the social dynamics of open source systems. He studied Sociology, Media and Information Science and Psychology at the FU Berlin and the Rijkuniversiteit Groningen. Moreover he spent some time as visiting researcher at RCAST, University of Tokyo and worked as an editor for radio, TV and print among other things for Radio Japan, ABC News and Radio 100.
