Roettgers is working and living in Los Angeles and writes for on- and offline-media about net culture, net policy, and music on the Internet. His articles are published in various magazines and newspapers, such as Berliner Zeitung, De:Bug, Financial Times Germany, Frankfurter Rundschau, heise.de IT news, and Telepolis.de. He has also published two books and participated on various panels, talks and lectures.
